Privacy Notice

What happens to your information, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Website information

This version covers our pre-launch website and business correspondence. We have no active insurance or loan providers yet. Any future introduction service will have updated terms and privacy information before it opens.

WhatsApp service messages

When our WhatsApp service assistant is enabled, it provides automated support and partnership directions. During pre-launch it does not collect an insurance or loan enquiry. Meta processes messages sent through WhatsApp under its own terms. Our service signposting uses the sender number, message identifier and time to respond, prevent duplicate replies and remember the selected route. It does not store incoming free-text content in the service-signposting record.

We encrypt the reply destination and keep these separate service records for up to seven days. The scheduled cleanup removes them after that period; encrypted backups may retain deleted records for the backup retention period. We use this information to answer messages you initiate and protect the service, under legitimate interests. Reply STOP to cancel unsent service replies, or contact support to request deletion or help. A reply already in transit may still arrive. Contacting us as a provider does not create a customer lead or grant access to the provider portal.

Who is responsible

Website visits and messages

If you email us, we receive your address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. We use these to answer your question, discuss a partnership or handle a concern. Technical service records can include an IP address, request time, browser information and errors to help operate and protect the website.

Our lawful basis for general correspondence and essential security is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us, managing business relationships and keeping the service secure. Where a record must be kept under a specific legal obligation, that obligation is the basis for that use. Sending a question does not sign you up to marketing.

Future customer enquiries

When enabled, the web form collects a product category, name, contact details, town, postcode area and a requested insurance start date or borrowing details. Loan questions include purpose, employment and income band. We record the disclosure and permission given, journey events and partner outcomes. WhatsApp conversations include the messages you send.

The planned enquiry asks separately for contact and sharing permission. Before a live category opens, its notice must identify the purposes and lawful bases for enquiry handling, partner sharing, records and any automated assistance. This pre-launch page does not authorise a live introduction.

Providing an enquiry is optional. If you do not supply the required details and permissions, we cannot make that introduction. We do not need bank passwords, card security codes or medical records in the initial enquiry.

Who receives information

We are not currently passing customer enquiries to insurance or loan providers. Contacting us about the business or a potential partnership does not give permission to share your details as a customer lead.

Authorised people working for the company and service providers supporting email, hosting and security may access information needed for their role. Our company email uses Google Workspace. The website and database are hosted by Amazon Web Services in its London region. Cloudflare provides DNS and website security, including Turnstile on protected forms. These providers process technical records needed to deliver and protect the service. Their operational and support processing may take place in other countries.

A live enquiry will name the introduction partner before sharing. We do not distribute one enquiry to an unnamed panel. The partner is responsible for explaining its own subsequent use of your information.

Access outside the UK

The business is operated from India, so the company’s operator may access messages and service records there. Email and other technology providers may process information in other countries. Before live customer intake, we must confirm the relevant locations, contracts and safeguards for that access and any restricted transfers. Contact us for information about the arrangements that apply to your data; this notice does not claim that those launch checks are already complete.

How long we keep information

We assess how long a record is needed by its purpose: answering an outstanding message, maintaining a business relationship, investigating a complaint or security issue, or meeting a legal record-keeping requirement. We review records when that purpose ends and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. You can ask which criteria apply to your records. The detailed schedule for live enquiries, consent evidence, messages, documents and partner outcomes must be agreed before customer intake.

Withdrawal does not automatically erase every record. We may need to retain limited evidence to record your wishes, explain an earlier action or meet an applicable obligation.

Automation and campaign information

We are developing software to organise enquiries and flag cases for human review. Credit enquiry scoring prioritises review; it does not approve credit. Insurance selection and lending decisions belong to the partner. Details of any live automated assistance will be explained before use.

A campaign reference in a page address can be stored with a submitted enquiry to identify its source. We do not use advertising pixels in this version. See our cookies and analytics notice.

On umofi.com, Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a browser script to help us understand visits, page views and page performance. Its reports include information such as referring sites, country and browser type. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage for usage measurement and does not fingerprint individual visitors for analytics. It does not provide us with a list of named visitors. Read Cloudflare’s explanation of Web Analytics.

Your right to object

You can object to use of your information based on legitimate interests, explaining your circumstances. You can always object to direct marketing. Send your request to support; you do not need to use legal wording.

Other choices and rights

Depending on the use and lawful basis, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Use your enquiry link where available, or contact support.

We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We normally respond to a rights request within one month, subject to the rules on identification, clarification and permitted extensions. We will explain any extension or refusal.

You can raise a concern with us and also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
